In 2015 Tapestry founder Liz Reynolds was part of an Urban Planning Advisory Team organised by ISOCARP on behalf of UNDP to consider spatial planning strategies for the Gaza Strip.

In 2018 Tapestry supported the Loneliness Lab initiative by lending our time and skills to an applied research project called Know Your Neighbourhood, looking at how residents in high density buildings could be better connected.

Prompted by the relocation of a NATO airbase, Tapestry’s founder led an Urban Planning Advisory Team organised by the International Society of City and Regional Planners, to undertake a peer review of the city’s spatial plans.
